Just a Nobody Trying to Tell Everybody About Jesus. Let’s Make Heaven Crowded Together!

There’s a hole in every human soul. A God-shaped emptiness that nothing in this world can ever fill. Not money. Not success. Not the next purchase or promotion. I’ve watched people chase all of it, thinking one more thing will finally make them feel whole. It never does. Only Jesus can. Only the living God can take a broken life and transform it into something beautiful, eternal, and complete.

I know what it is to grow up with little. My family lived in a tiny house, and later in a trailer. Material things were never the dream for me. Even as a kid, all I wanted was purpose, and a way to help hurting people find the hope. I discovered that hope in Christ and everything changed. I immersed myself into church ministry and grew.

Years later, after my wife and I had been married and our youngest son came along, the Lord did something only He can do. He called us to leave everything familiar behind. We moved from California to Minnesota with almost nothing, into another little house. But that small house became a wide-open door. People walked into our lives hungry for truth, for belonging, for Jesus. We opened our home, opened the Word, and watched God open hearts.

The hunger for more of Him has never gone away, and it’s only grown stronger with every passing year. I don’t know what the future holds for me or for you. I’m perfectly content being a nobody who’s just trying to tell everybody about Somebody who can save anyone. But I hope you know God and the hope and peace He brings.

Life is messy. We’re imperfect people living in an imperfect world. But I’m so thankful that Emmanuel, “God with us” is not just a Christmas word but it’s our everyday reality. He never leaves. And He’s given us family (both the ones we’re born to and the ones we’re born again with) to walk this road together.

We’re here for a reason. You’re not an accident. Neither am I. And together, by God’s grace, I hope you join us in this journey. God is good. So let’s spend our days doing the one thing that will matter a billion years from now, by making Heaven more crowded, one surrendered heart at a time.

I’d love to partner with you in that. Maybe God’s put a song on your heart to sing or a ministry to help people or you need some encouragement to shine for Jesus. Let’s find a way to work together. Jesus is worth it. People are worth it. Eternity is worth it.
