…Everyday Thanksgiving Prayer…
As I rise from my cozy bed, I thank you, Lord, for the strength to start a new day. I’m reminded that many are unable to leave their beds, and I pray for their healing and comfort.
In the chaos of morning, when socks go missing and children eating breakfast takes longer than expected, I give thanks for my family. You’ve blessed me with loved ones to share life’s joys and challenges. I pray for those who feel lonely, that they might experience Your presence and love.
As I watch my spouse selflessly serving our family, I’m filled with gratitude. They’re cleaning, cooking, and considering how each person can be served. What a blessing they are! Thank you, Lord, for their love, care, and dedication. May I support and appreciate them more each day.
Our kitchen table may not be perfect, but I thank you for the food we have. You provide for our daily needs, and I’m grateful for Your abundance. I pray for those struggling with hunger, that they might be nourished and satisfied.
In the routine of my work, I thank you for the opportunity to serve and glorify You. You’ve given me skills and talents to use for Your kingdom. I pray for those seeking employment, that they might find purpose and provision.
When I’m tempted to grumble and complain, I thank you for the gift of life itself. You’ve given me breath, salvation, and a future filled with hope. Help me to focus on Your blessings and trust in Your goodness.
Oh God, may my heart be filled with gratitude and praise, not just on special occasions, but every day. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for Your love and faithfulness!
