Another Presidential Debate
As we approach the upcoming presidential debate, my hope is that both candidates will engage in respectful and truthful dialogue. Regardless of who wins the election, let’s remember that our leaders need our prayers. As the Bible reminds us, we are called to pray for those in authority (1 Timothy 2:1-2) and to intercede for their salvation and wisdom.
But let’s also keep in mind that our ultimate hope and trust are not in earthly kingdoms or rulers, but in the kingdom of God. As Jesus taught us, we are to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Let’s not make an idol out of the kingdoms of men, but instead pray for our leaders to seek God’s wisdom and guidance.
May God guide and direct them, and may we as a nation seek His will and peace. Let’s vote Biblically and come together in prayer for our leaders and our country, and may God’s kingdom reign supreme in our hearts!
